What is your primary product or service?
We are a Christian summer camp for ages 4 to 14. It is not a resident camp.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Originally a ministry of Pantego Bible Church, it has been an independent non-profit camp since 1993.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a Christian-based day camp. We also offer all-year Challenge Adventure Team Building programs. We have an extensive ropes course, three swimming pools, and 14 acres of wooded camp site.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
There is only one location for Camp Thurman. Our expansion is through our creative scheduling.

We are one block west of Bowen and one block north of 303 (Pioneer Parkway) in Pantego.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all credit cards, debit cards, and eChecks. We do offer payment plans to spread out the payment of the fees.
Which areas do you service?
We have campers from all over the metroplex, and even some from out of state - who come back to stay with relatives/friends while they attend the day camp. More than 60 zipcodes in the metroplex are represented. Campers from more than 500 different churches and 500 different schools attend each summer.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a non-profit organization, with a 10-member board. Our administrative team has 7 full-time employees, headed by an executive director.
What are your hours of operation?
Summer hours are 9 to 9:30. Other seasons our office is open Mon, Thur, and Fridays from 9:30 to 4:30.
