How long have you been in business?
Over 20 years. I started in 1993
What is your primary product or service?
College prep--This includes preparing students for the SAT and ACT tests and helping them develop the skills needed in college. Most of our students are trying to get college scholarships as well as admission to very competitive universities. In fact, we have had 10 National Merit finalists in just the last 2 years.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I personally benefited from tutoring while in college and thus realized its value. I was behind in math when I began college and had to work harder to catch up.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
One important difference is my years of experience. It takes several years to develop effective techniques for how to help different students. People have different learning styles and different ways of taking tests. It takes an expert to recognize how best to help each student.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have 1 location and have no plans to expand at this time. Our focus is on giving our clients and students the very best experience with the college admission and college prep process.
